We’re delighted to announce artist, illustrator and printmaker Jennifer Copley-May’s participation in a group exhibition in Cambridgeshire entitled ‘Natural Beauty‘, which opens 8 September and runs until 21 October. The show is hosted by The Darryl Nantais Gallery in the picturesque village of Linton. Her work will be exhibited alongside 3 other artists’ with a focus on the natural world.
Jennifer’s watercolour painting with ink The Open Way features on the invitation. Other works which will be on display and for sale include a spectacular mixed media collage shaped from earlier works, Floral Bouquet; Florida Palm with Fern, a watercolour with body colour; a pair of unique Zen like and bio-science inspired abstracts, Block I and Block II using textured handmade Japanese papers; two pastels – Irises, painted in the garden and Marigolds, from a still life in the studio; and a collection of original woodcut prints – The Waiting Game and Frog are shown here.
The selection of 11 works curated by The Darryl Nantais Gallery’s Karl Backhurst demonstrates Jennifer’s versatility as an artist, and her ability to create highly accomplished works in a variety of styles in diverse media. All are sold framed.
